First, you will need Mod Podge, a piece of material, a hardback journal, and a hot glue gun. Cut the material in a rectangle that will fit around your journal. Glue the material to the front and back using Mod Podge. Then, let them dry for a few minutes. Next trim the edges around the journal so they are straight and even. Leave them about an inch long. Glue them to the inside flap of the journal. The last step is covering the spine. There will be extra fabric around the spine of the journal. Cut 2 slits, as shown in the picture on the left. Use a butter knife to tuck it into the journal's spine. Then, Voila! Your own personalized journal!
